I've looked at other stuff but I'm looking for something a little bit more structured.Ī masterclass, kinda thing, that starts with the basics and moves through the software Module by Module. Just pausing and copying what he's doing but not really understanding what I'm doing. We provide three examples: (1) Houdini with Mantra, (2) Maya with VRay and (3) Katana with RenderMan as downstream tools to process and render your Alembic city model. I've followed some quick Entagma tutorials and made some neat stuff, but I always feel a bit lost. This tutorial demonstrates a number of VFX-related workflows based on the Alembic exporter. I've been playing around a bit with Houdini apprentice and been loving it. ![]()
